Australian Agriculture outlook in 2021

For the past few years, the Australian agriculture industry was suffering a lot from heavy drought and there is nothing left for farmers to harvest and the covid-19 pandemic was making the situation from bad to worst.

In this condition, When very little amount of wheat is harvested from harvesters. It was quite painful seeing things parked in sheds and not getting used.

Getting a good rainfall in this situation was like a new hope for the Australian agriculture industry. Mainly some areas like New South Wales(NSW), Victoria, and South Australia have played an important role in a bumper crop in Australia.

In this winter growing condition, the government forecasting the wheat production can be 29 million tonnes across the country which will 90% more than the last season.

According to Australian wheat exports, Farmers are on track to harvest excess grain and comes with double grains to export to markets like; Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Philippines, Korea, etc.

The money generated from the good crops will be brought a new life for not only Australian Farmers but also for the wider community in which they live.

One thing, that some Australian farmers are worried about is finding good storage for their crops to keep them safe for a longer time, But it is only a one-time investment.
